Welcome to my webpage at Fruitvale ISD. I joined the Fruitvale Bobcats in June 2016. Previously, I served as a Curriculum Director, Principal, Assistant Principal, and Math Specialist at West Rusk ISD, Nacogdoches ISD, and Sheldon ISD in Houston. I began my career teaching high school mathematics at Chapel Hill High School. I graduated from Troup High School in 1993 and completed my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in History in 2001 from SFA. From there, I completed my Master's in Educational Administration from SFA in 2006, received my Superintendent Certification in 2009 from the Region 4 Service Center in Houston and went on to earn my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M Commerce in 2013. I am married to Roman and we have 4 beautiful children, Emily, Abby, Luke, and Beau. I enjoy many hobbies like weight lifting, fishing, hunting, and attending sporting events. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions regarding curriculum, instruction, or federal programs such as McKinney-Vento homeless services, foster care services, parent resources, etc. My office is always open!
