TREaT

Together Reading Eating and Talking

TREaT (Together Reading Eating and Talking) is a new District-wide event that aims to promote literacy while supporting local eateries and coffee shops. This one-day event will take place on Saturday, November 13th. Frisco ISD students, families, and employees are invited to eat at participating businesses while reading and talking about the material. In turn, these businesses will offer a special discount or deal when using #treatfisd.

How will TREaT work? Go to any of the participating businesses and use #treatfisd when ordering to receive a special discount or deal. While eating your food or enjoying a coffee or tea, you will read a book (or some sort of reading material) and talk about what you have read. Be sure to take a picture and post it on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with #treatfisd and name of the participating business.

There will be a contest between schools for the most participants. For information on how to participate, click the "Contest Information" tile below.
