Meet the counselor!

Another fantastic summer is coming to an end! (Well, maybe not the weather aspect!) Ours was quiet, happy, and restful. I am so excited to welcome all of you back to Scott Elementary. For those of you who don't know me, this is my second year as the school Counselor at Scott Elementary. Previously, I spent ten years in the classroom teaching English to seventh graders. My heart has always been in helping students reach their potential emotionally and intellectually. I'm so thrilled for the opportunity to among all involved in that goal at Scott! Last year, I said to many people that being at Scott is like being at Disney World because of all the enthusiasm and support of students, teachers, and parents. My goal is to know all your children by name as soon as possible. And, I like to describe myself as extremely approachable, so please do not ever hesitate to contact me. I can’t wait to get to know all of you!!

At home, my husband, who truly champions for me all the time, and I have been married for eight years. We have two boys (my son is 23 years old and has just graduated from UNT, and Scott’s son is 14 and entering ninth grade at Allen High School). We love to watch movies, and we love to eat! Again, I am thrilled to be a part of Frisco ISD and Scott Elementary!

I can be reached at jacksoncar@friscoisd.org or 469-633-4004.
