MATH: We will classify two-dimensional figures in a hierarchy of sets and subsets using graphic organizers based on their attributes and properties. We will begin to solve problems by calculating conversions within a measurement system, customary or metric.

SCIENCE: We will model and describe the processes that led to the formation of sedimentary rocks and fossils fuels.

READING: We will recognize characteristics and structures of argumentative text and identify the

intended audience or reader. 

WRITING: We will compose argumentative texts, including opinion essays, using genre characteristics and craft. 

SOCIAL STUDIES:   We will identify significant events and concepts associated with U.S. territorial expansion, including the Louisiana Purchase, the expedition of Lewis and Clark, and Manifest Destiny.
