Administrative Information
Trustees approved the 2023-24 Student Code of Conduct at the regular August Board meeting. Families need to be aware of the updated consequences for vapes, fighting, and getting high on campus. There is a mandatory 10-day disciplinary placement for students who use or possess any portion of a vape on or within 300 feet of school property of a school-related activity. In addition, students who have a substance that can get them high such as hemp, CBD, THC or Delta-8 will receive a 45-day disciplinary placement. Please talk with your children about the very serious consequences. More information can be found here. Parents are also encouraged to view this video highlighting the updates.

College Week Activities
This year College Week is going to be celebrated in all Frisco secondary schools during the week of September 11-15. The premise of this week is to open the door to the knowledge that preparing one's self for college begins now by setting goals and forming good academic habits.
In Advisory on Monday, September 11th students will review some college statistics and participate in a jeopardy game. The winners of the game will have their names entered into a raffle drawing, which will be held on Friday, September 15th during all lunches.
Throughout the remainder of the week, we will have some fun activities as well as theme dress up days. Students will be able to earn HERO points if they participate in the dress up days, which will emphasize preparing students for graduation and realizing that going to college is a potential ticket to the future.
September 15 - October 15
National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated from September 15 to October 15 in the United States for recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.

All absences, both excused and unexcused, count toward the state’s compulsory attendance law. When a student's attendance drops below 90% but remains at least at 75% of the days the class is offered, the student may earn credit for the class or a final grade by completing a plan approved by the principal. All absences can be easily submitted in the form at the top of our campus website (see below). Learn more about the attendance policy.
Beginning, September 5th, parents/guardians will be allowed to eat lunch with their student(s); however, we are asking for a 24 hour advance notification by completing this form. There will be a maximum of 2 visitors/family per lunch per day on a first come first serve basis. Campus office staff will provide an email confirmation to the requestor if the lunch reservation is approved. The requestor MUST receive this email confirmation to redeem the reservation on the date/time requested. All visitors must check-in at the front office upon arrival. Visitors may only bring lunch for their student.
Frisco ISD utilizes the School Messenger text messaging service on a limited basis to communicate timely information such as school closures/delays or campus emergencies. Parents, not sure if you are signed up? Opt-in by texting “Y” or “Yes” to 67587.
