Our campus is beginning to see signs of illness. With that being said, please do not send your student to school if they have a fever. Doing so, puts your student as well as other students and faculty at risk. A fever, per our district policy is defined as a temperature of 100 degrees or above. In order to return to school, a student must be fever free without the use of fever-reducing medications for 24 hours before they can return. Protect yourself and your loved ones by doing the following:
Taking a flu shot
Washing your hands frequently or using hand sanitizer
Stay home when you are sick
Covering your cough
Let’s keep flu and other illnesses out of school!

School Board Appreciation Month - Art 3 Project
Our amazing Vandeventer Art 3 students, at the direction of Mrs. Rainey, collaborated on an amazing project which was presented to the School Board on Tuesday, January 16th for School Board Appreciation Month. The students conversed and conceptualized all the ways the school board helps our community, thus creating this amazing puzzle demonstrating the unity between the school board, FISD central office , and our schools. Awesome job!
