Conversation with Counselors
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year has officially begun. We look forward to our rising freshman joining the Redhawk family! All of our amazing middle schools are working diligently to provide your students with all of the information necessary to help plan their high school course experiences. We are working as teams to share this information both in-person and electronically and we are hopeful that the videos and presentations along with counselor guidance will serve as a helpful guide in the registration process. You will receive more information on creating a four-year-plan and course selection soon, in the meantime, we wanted to make sure you are aware of an upcoming meeting we have planned for you at Liberty. Details are below. We plan to have the LHS Planning Guide ready for you prior to the meeting.

Way to go, Vikings!
Frisco ISD Guidance and Counseling team, it's time for us to shine a light on suicide prevention and awareness as we #REACHOUT. Please join your fellow counselors and friends at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Out of the Darkness Walk. We will walk together on the morning of November 4th at 9:30. Check-in begins at 8:30.
The event kicks off with Beginning Ceremonies to recognize and honor all participants who have been affected by suicide. It’s a moving and inspirational experience. Conveniently located, the walk will take place at the Windsong Ranch neighborhood in Prosper and winds through approximately 2 miles of scenic trails.
Let’s show the community our dedication to saving lives through suicide awareness and prevention. Click the link below or scan the QR code and sign up under team FISD #REACHOUT.

Congratulations to Vandeventer Middle School's yearbook teacher Lindsay Muse and the 2022-2023 yearbook students for receiving the National Yearbook Program of Excellence Award from Jostens. Great job!
7th graders Campbell Chandler, Cora Johnson, Eve Mills, and Emmy Fiedler came out to support former Vandeventer MS and Liberty HS student Jenna Wennas (pictured centered) during the UT vs. TCU volleyball game Wednesday night! It was a great night for volleyball!
"At Vandeventer Middle School, families had the chance to enjoy a night of orchestra and art that was so good, it’s scary.
“When Art and Music Collide,” a program that was half art show and half orchestra performance, was the seventh such collaboration between art teacher Leanne Rainey and orchestra director Chase Fickling, with assistant orchestra director Paul Schmaus."
