Meet the Nurse
Hi! My name is Victoria Pihl and I am your Liscano School Nurse. I have been a Registered Nurse for 17 years and this is my 6th year in school nursing. My background includes Pediatrics, Neonatal ICU, and Case Management. I graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara and am working toward my Master's degree to be an advanced practice nurse. I transplanted to Texas from Michigan 10 years ago and absolutely love it here! I am a proud Mom of 3 awesome and very active kids. I have one high school graduate, a senior, and a 6th grader - all Frisco schools. Rounding out the family is Daisy, our sweet, long haired miniature dachshund and Hobbes, a huge Maine Coon kitty. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, travel, reading, music, movies, and good coffee!
I am here to help our Liscano students remain healthy and encourage wellness, so they can be as successful as possible while at school. I am honored to be trusted by you to take care of your child's health needs.

**The School Clinic is not a Primary Care Office or Urgent Care**
First-aid and medical care provided by the school nurse is mainly for illness or injury that occurs at school during the school day. The nurse is qualified to collaborate with you and your child's physician to provide an educational environment in which your child can learn and thrive. The nurse does not make medical diagnoses nor prescribe treatments or medications, but can provide treatments and medications as prescribed by a physician with a doctor's order.
**DO NOT send a sick or injured child to school for the school nurse to decide whether they should be in school.**
