Tuesday Google Meet starts 9/7/2021, 4:00:00 PM PST
For this session we will create a Google Form for multiple teachers to use to have students sign out for the bathroom. A QR code will be created per teacher (or instead you can do per student) to make it easy for students to scan and go to the bathroom.

Google Forms is the greatest thing since sliced bread. You know the basics of creating a Google Form but what else can you do to leverage the learning power and student engagement elements of Google Forms. Let’s go over how to reuse your Google Forms from last year. Why and how to use Branching Forms. Join Alice Keeler to start the school year off right by upping our Google Forms game!

Why have all your Google Forms go to different spreadsheets when they can be in the SAME spreadsheet. Let me talk you into this! We will practice linking multiple Forms to ONE spreadsheet (at least for the unit) so all the student results are easy to find!
You have given a Google Form. You connected it to a spreadsheet, how can we manage the results?
In this webinar we will work on using http://alicekeeler.com/form to quickly create a Google Form and how it saves you time. We MIGHT touch on http://alicekeeler.com/branchingform for quickly creating a branching Google Form.
Use the Form to Slides Add-on docs.google.com/forms/d/1LKVLnT0KR9PQ8FYAkpKK1rjxEJB1f-x7x1znoBPlnmk/copy to collect student responses and have their responses automatically go to Google Slides. Now you can RANDOMIZE the student responses so you can give feedback in class to a few students as a class discussion. In other words, students submit a response. You want to use a few student examples in the class discussion. Use the randomize option to help you out!
This week I added premium features to Multiple Forms http://alicekeeler.com/multipleforms
Free features are to make a bunch of Google Forms in one Google Sheets spreadsheet. Big time saver! Premium: Link already existing forms into that spreadsheet. Send feedback from form submissions to students. Creates a Google Doc for the feedback. In this webinar we will go over the premium features and answer questions.
One way to get your reading passages side by side with a Google Form is to create a Google Sites website where you embed the reading passage side by side with the Google Form. We will practice creating a Google Site for the purpose of assessment to embed multi media for your Google Form. Additionally we will use http://alicekeeler.com/multipleforms to create multiple forms at once, quickly and to have all the responses come to the same place.
Let's go over some key things to know when creating a Google Form!
I will assume you know how to make a basic Google Form. I have had several requests for Google Forms workshops. I will take questions and give suggestions for how to use (or advise not to use) Google Forms.

YES YOU CAN have multiple Google Forms go to one Google Sheets spreadsheets. Send all your forms for a class to ONE spreadsheet to have only one place to check!
I have updated the premium Add-on to allow you to take Google Form responses and now gives you the option to set it to automatically append the responses to your Google Slides.
You can find the premium add on here: https://sites.google.com/fresnoteach.org/alicekeelerllcsubscriptionmemb/home/premium#h.utf2k5y320li
Create a trigger for your Google Form that when a new item is submitted it sorts backwards so new entries are at the top

Google Forms is the best thing since sliced bread! In this workshop we will look at some techniques for how to make a Google Form for attendance and how to reuse the same Form every day!
Students should self evaluate on the rubric before you do! Use a Google Form to allow students to self evaluate the rubric. Give feedback to students and use the Autocrat add-on to merge to a Google Doc to give them a nicely formatted report of their feedback. This webinar will demonstrate making a Google Form as a rubric, leaving feedback, and merging to students a report using the Autocrat Add-on
When students fill out a Form you want to sometimes merge their responses to a Google Doc. This allows you to give feedback and interact with students more effectively. Not to mention make the responses easier to read. Autocrat is an Add-on for Google Sheets that allows you to automatically create a Google Doc, that is formatted, from a Google Forms response. The doc is created on Form submit so as soon as the student submits they get their responses in a document.
