Dear Parents/Carers and Students
Firstly, welcome to Outwood Academy Freeston Information Evening Site! We are very much looking forward to working with parents and carers to support all young people with their learning this year.
We have an exciting year ahead of us in Year 11. Mock exams begin Monday 6th March for two weeks, this is the final opportunity for students to experience the routines and exams before the real ones in the summer. Attendance for these is critical.
Before Christmas we shared with students the criteria to go to prom on the 4th July. A positive attitude and commitment to learning is imperative to success and our criteria is based on this.
This website is just for you. We are updating it weekly with information, competitions, ideas, frequently asked questions, advice, plus other areas we thought you might want to read about.
We have lots to look forward to and we are very excited about working together to get the very best from the future.
