Information for Parents/Carers

Welcome to our Parents Information Site. At this time of year (Autumn Term), we would usually invite parents and carers of Year 11 students to come into the Academy to listen to our Heads of Department talk about how to best support students in their GCSE examinations. However, with social distancing in place we have decided to bring the Academy to you!

The aim of this Google Site is to give you access to the same key messages/resources to ensure that your son or daughter can maximise their potential this year. We trust that you find this site useful and please feel free to return to these presentations at any time to remind yourself of the wealth of information provided.

The Google Site is also aimed at students and it would be very useful to watch these presentations together. The beauty of the 'virtual' event is that you don't have to watch it all at once! You can come back to these presentations at your leisure and use it as a reference point throughout the year. In particular, the following presentations have been made with students in mind, so please encourage them to watch in preparation for the November assessment window:

At the top of the site is the navigation pane, which will give you access to all the page links. The main 'Core Subject Presentation' button link can be found on the home page. Don't forget to use the 'expand tool' to open the presentations to 'full screen'. Just use the back button on your browser, to return you to the previous page.
