Accompanying Materials

Accompanying materials must be provided with a cannabis product or made available to the consumer purchasing cannabis products.

A producer or processor must provide the following product-specific information, for as long as the product is for sale, through an internet link, web address, or QR code on the product label as follows:

(a) A statement disclosing all pesticides applied to the cannabis plants and growing medium during production of the useable cannabis or the base cannabis used to create the concentrate or the extract added to infused products;

(b) A list disclosing all of the chemicals, compounds, additives, thickening agents, terpenes, or other substances added to any cannabis concentrate during or after production.

PESTICIDE-FREE

No synthetic chemicals or synthetic pesticides are applied to the cannabis plants or growing medium during the production of the useable cannabis or the base cannabis used to create the concentrate or the extract added to infused products;

Additionally, all flower lots and concentrates are tested for pesticides after production before any sale.

Our standards ensure that all of our products contain ZERO trace amounts of harmful synthetic pesticides and can be considered "Pesticide-Free".

WAC 314-55-108

Pesticide action levels.

(1) Only pesticides allowed under WAC 314-55-084 may be used in the production of cannabis, and they must be registered by the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) under chapter 15.58 RCW.

(2) Pursuant to WAC 314-55-102, if the WSLCB, WSDA, other designee of the WSLCB, or certified lab identifies a pesticide that is not allowed under subsection (1) of this section and is above the action levels provided in subsection (3) of this section, that lot or batch from which the sample was deducted has failed quality control testing and may be subject to a recall as provided in WAC 314-55-225.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Free Rain Farms Integrated pest management program is based on the use of Beneficial Organisms, Bacteria, Fungi, and Organic Pesticides as needed for up to 21 days of flowering. The integration of these tools creates an ecosystem within the facility that prevents major pest or pathogen outbreaks and reduces the need for conventional (synthetic) pesticides. All products used are OMRI certified and are in accordance with the WSDA’s list of approved pesticides for marijuana production.

Beneficial Insects

Biocontrols are living organisms such as predatory mites, larvae, or pupae used to prevent or maintain control over a target pest species population.

Commonly Used Beneficial Insects at the farm:

• Steinernema carpocapsae: Parasitic nematodes, controls specific soil borne pest populations.

• Steinernema feltiae: Parasitic nematodes, controls specific soil borne pest populations.

• Stratiolaelaps scimitus: Soil dwelling predatory generalist mite.

• Dalotia coriaria: Soil dwelling predatory generalist beetle.

Bacteria & Fungi

Biopesticides are bacteria or fungi used for the control of target pathogens or pest species. The use of these natural biopesticides reduces the need to use conventional (synthetic) pesticides throughout the growing process and eliminates the need for any foliar applications in critical stages of the flowering period.

The following biopesticides are infrequently used; as needed up to day 21 of flowering:

• Cease: Bacillus subtilis strain QST 713, a biofungicide that provides effective control of a wide array of both fungal and bacterial pathogens, labeled for use in organic production.

• Lalstop: Gliocladium catenulatum strain J1446, a biofungicide that outcompetes foliar and soil-borne pathogens.

• Rootshield: Trichoderma harzianum strain T-22, outcompetes fungal and bacterial pathogens, preventing them from becoming established

• Velifer: Beauveria bassiana strain PPRI 5339, an entomopathogenic fungus used for the control of various insect species.

Organics

Any organic pesticides that may be used are allowed by Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA), and are certified Organic by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI).

The following organic pesticides are infrequently used; as needed for up to day 21 of flowering.

• AzaGuard: OMRI listed antifeedant, repellant and insect growth regulator derived from neem.

• M-Pede: OMRI listed soft pesticide derived from plant-based potassium salts of fatty acids.

• Regalia CG: OMRI listed extract derived from Reynoutria sachalinensis, or Giant Knotweed, which activates the plant’s defense system to increase phenolics and antioxidants and strengthen cell walls.

• Suffoil-X: OMRI listed mineral oil spray.

• Zerotol 2.0: OMRI listed, safe, gentle broad spectrum algaecide/bactericide/fungicide.
