The Intervention and Referral Services committee is a multidisciplinary committee at MWES that meets monthly to help teachers plan interventions for students who are in need of some additional academic, behavioral and/or social-emotional support.

Interventions are typically created for 6-8 week sessions and data is taken throughout the process to help assess if the student is making progress towards the identified goal.
