The Fredericksburg Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Inc., Kappa League is a program for the educational, occupational and social guidance of male students in grades 6th-12th. It was designed to help young men grow, receive, and develop their leadership talents in every phase of human endeavor. The nucleus and primary focus of the Kappa League revolves around the "Seven Phases" which are:
Phase I - Self Identity/ Purpose
Phase II -Training
Phase III - Competition
Phase IV - Social
Phase V - Health Education
Phase VI - Economic Empowerment & Education
Phase VII - College & Career
To become a member of the FAC Kappa League, there’s an application that includes letter/s of recommendations as well as an interview process. All Kappa Leaguers must maintain a 2.5 GPA, but we do work with the young men to assist with the educational requirement.
Our Kappa Leaguers lead community service projects, participates in Quiz bowls, attends college visits and fairs, as well as host local fundraising events. In addition, we engage our young men in fun team building activities.
