Welcome to Mr. Maday's Art Room
" Where the spirit does not work with the hand, there is no Art." - Leonardo Da Vinci
Greetings to all parents and students at Frassati Catholic Academy in Wauconda and St. Anne School in Barrington. I welcome you to my Art Room. I have many exciting projects planned for "in school" and "parallell/remote" learning during the 2024-2025 school year. As the art teacher, I will provide all the students with an environment of creativity. It will not only be educational, but also a fun experience where they are encouraged to use their imagination.
"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." - Pablo Picasso

Catholic Schools Week 2015
The Art Gallery Panels have been hung in the school's atrium for CSW Week. Come walk through the gallery and experience the art that is being created by the students of Frassati Catholic Academy and Transfiguration School!!
The four foot by eight foot by one half inch art display panels weigh five pounds and are easily supported by the ceiling grid system. The panels lightweight design allow them to give the illusion they are floating in air, since they can be supported by only using fishing line. Battery pack LED spotlights are used to highlight panels and are also supported by fishing line. Panels are reusable and will be part of future events.
