NURSE'S CORNER...

It’s National Nutrition Month, and what better time to celebrate the incredible power of food?  The choices we make on our plates don’t just affect our taste buds; they have a profound impact on our overall health and well-being. This month, let’s ditch the fad diets and focus on building a sustainable, healthy relationship with food. By prioritizing nutritious choices, we can empower ourselves to prevent chronic diseases and live life to the fullest.

FES News and Updates:

The Scholastic Book Fair will be here from Monday, April 1st through Friday, April 5th.  We are looking for volunteers to help throughout the duration of the fair.  Monday the 1st will be the teacher/student preview day.  The Book Fair will be open for purchases from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Volunteers are especially needed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday due to my lack of availability on those days.  If you can help during any of these times, please contact Jennifer Andrew at jandrew@franklinschoolct.org or 860-933-7769 (text preferred, especially during school hours).

PRESCHOOL - If you have a child who was born in 2020 or 2021, please call the main office or email Lori Goldstein at lgoldstein@franklinschoolct.org with your child's name and D.O.B. so that we can add you to our mailing list for preschool.  Even if you do not plan on sending your child to preschool here at FES next year, please still reach out to us so that we have your information.

See the attached flyer for more information!!

Thank you to Nurse Sheri and Ms. Franchetti for organizing the Jump Rope for Heart & Volleyball Game for the school on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
