About Me

I graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. While at MSU, I completed the Elementary Teacher Education (K-6) program as well as courses for Middle School Mathematics (5-8) and Middle School Social Studies (5-8) endorsements. After graduating, I taught pre-algebra and honors algebra I as an 8th grade math leave replacement teacher at Sparta Middle School before joining the FAMS team for the 2020-2021 school year.

My Philosophy

Although education is ever changing, I believe that there are certain constants that withstand the test of time. One such constant is that a good education is the greatest tool that we can give our students.

In order to inspire my students, I teach with the same enthusiasm and excitement I wish to see mirrored in my students' faces. I believe that students learn best when they feel that their teacher cares. One of my primary goals as an educator is to give each of my students the individual attention that they need to excel.

The District recognizes the importance of homework as part of the educational process and has adopted policy #6154 that establishes homework guidelines. Homework posted on this website is as up to date as practically possible, is subject to revision, and serves as a guide for students and parents.
