• Graduate of Mechanical Technology or a 2-3 year course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• A BS Mechanical Engineering graduate is an advantage
• Training in Modern Refrigeration System and air conditioning applications is preferred.
• Attendance in related technical seminars or vocational training is a plus.
• Superior knowledge in refrigeration and air conditioning theories and practical applications.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting, system planning, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in technical correspondence and report writing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to work in Navotas City.
• Must be available to start immediately.
• In-charge of directing the entire Refrigeration Department
• Provide guidance for reefer personnel in certain procedures.
• Provide technical support and training for his team members when needed.
• Report and feedback any compliance problem and corrective actions implemented by the Engineering Division Head (EDH).
• Ensure that all projects are planned based on the available resources: manpower, parts and materials.
• Ensure all work done for both vessel and workshop, are in compliance to the standard of quality provided.
• Report regularly to the Division Head on performance of the department.
• Make schedules (work plan) for every activity of every vessel for commitments assurance.
• Coordinate with other department heads for interfacing jobs.
• Assign people and distribute manpower according to vessel’s need for completion.
• Act as Administrative Head in the department by monitoring and documenting attendance, tardiness, work accomplishments, work attitude and overall performance.
• Facilitate processing of compensation or benefits due to his team member.
