• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering vocational course.
• Proven background or experience in various welding applications and techniques.
• Proficient in structural design and piping systems.
• Experienced in the maintenance or construction of fishing vessels and carriers.
• Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Acts as the Administrative Head; manages manpower distribution, monitors attendance and performance, and facilitates staff compensation and benefits.
• Oversees all technical works within the vicinity, including contractor activities and dry-docking operations, to ensure compliance and quality.
• Develops detailed work plans and schedules for vessel activities to ensure all project commitments and deadlines are met.
• Manages the allocation of tools, materials, and personnel; provides welding procedures, technical training, and system design upgrades to optimize vessel operations.
• Serves as the primary liaison to the Engineering Division Head; provides regular performance reports, suggests corrective actions, and coordinates with other departments on interfacing projects.
