Basic Functions of the Job

- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport, stack, and store palletized goods, containers, and materials within the cold storage facility.

- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage racks using forklifts, following proper procedures and safety protocols to prevent damage to goods and equipment.

- Assist in inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, and verifying incoming shipments, and locating and staging materials for storage or distribution.

- Retrieve and assemble orders for shipment, picking items from storage locations using forklifts or other equipment, and preparing them for loading onto delivery vehicles.

- Adhere to temperature control requirements and safety guidelines while operating forklifts in refrigerated environments, ensuring product quality and compliance with cold storage standards.

- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment, such as inspecting tires, brakes, and hydraulic systems, and reporting any issues to maintenance staff for repairs.

Qualifications

- Must have a Valid TESDA NCII in Heavy Equipment Operation.

- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or cold storage environment, with a strong understanding of forklift safety practices and operating procedures.
