- Receive incoming shipments of meat, marine products, and vegetables, inspecting containers, pallets, and packages for damage, discrepancies, and quality issues, and verifying quantities against shipping documents.
- Update inventory records using electronic inventory management systems or manual logs, recording receipt, storage location, and disposition of products accurately to maintain real-time inventory visibility and traceability.
- Monitor product shelf life, expiration dates, and storage conditions, ensuring proper rotation of stock and adherence to first-in-first-out (FIFO) or first-expiry-first-out (FEFO) principles to minimize product spoilage and waste.
- Prepare orders for shipment by selecting products from inventory, verifying accuracy against customer orders, assembling orders on pallets or containers, and staging them for loading onto delivery vehicles.
- Conduct quality checks on products, including visual inspection, temperature monitoring, and sensory evaluation, to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, product inspections, and quality control checks, ensuring documentation is up-to-date, organized, and accessible for auditing and regulatory compliance.
- Graduate or Undergraduate on any courses.
- Must have a strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating demands.
