Galileo Galilei

Born engineer, astrophysicist by choice. I graduated as Industrial Engineer back in 2014 after completing my undergraduate thesis in Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan. Two years after trying to fit in society as a regular worker, my curiosity yanked me out of the pit I felt into and started a graduate course in Astrophysics at Universitat de Barcelona. Got a PhD grant and now, luckily, I can do research for a living.

Currently, I work at ICC-UB as a PhD student on the field of Galactic kinematic and dynamics, in close collaboration with the Gaia team and, specially, with Teresa Antoja. You can see my progress, and maybe cheer my up, here.
