Fort Worth Red Mass

The Red Mass Committee of Fort Worth, Texas cordially invites all attorneys, judges, public officials, and their families and staffs to attend the Red Mass on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Saint Patrick Cathedral, 1206 Throckmorton Street, in downtown Fort Worth.

The Red Mass is an ancient tradition of the Church and Bar and is offered to invoke divine guidance and strength through the coming year. Read more about the history of the Red Mass.

Dinner and beverages will be served at the reception immediately following Mass at the Fort Worth Club, 306 West 7th Street, in the Horizon Room. There is no cost to attend the Mass or the reception, but we gratefully accept donations to underwrite the event.

This year's guest speaker is former U.S. Congressman Dan Lipinski. Lipinski is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and is a graduate of Saint Ignatius Preparatory High School in Chicago, has earned two engineering degrees from Northwestern University and Stanford University, as well as a Ph.D. in Political Science from Duke University. After teaching American Politics as an assistant professor, he served 16 years in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has written for The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, First Things, America, and Public Discourse. Former Congressman Lipinski also serves on the boards of Lewis University, Empower Illinois, and the Belmont House in Washington.
