Choice Boards

This is the sample virtual field trip choice board I showed in the video.

For this self-contained lesson, students would receive directions, have a choice in the virtual field trips they take using Google Expeditions, and they have a choice in the type of project they create to demonstrate their learning.

Check out this Activity in Seesaw from Amy Optiz. Amy used the Google Slides +Bitmoji strategy to design a review board that includes YouTube videos.

She "published" the single slide to the web then attached it as multimedia instructions as just a link (skipping the part where it tells you to create a PDF from Google). By publishing it and attaching it like a link, you create a webpage effect, that keeps the YouTube videos in the Slides AND eliminates the ad at the beginning. This creates a similar impact that View Pure has and reduces the distraction of having to open a video in YouTube.
