Original Google Document - Instructional Technology Problem Based Cohort Project 2017
As of January 2017 over 2.2 million mobile apps were available for download through the Apple App Store, and over 2.8 million for Android users (Statista, 2017). While the range of apps has provided a variety of options for people to communicate, it’s also created a number of issues. With so many methods available, finding one that reaches the largest audience has proven a problem for many, including educators.
This website provides an overview of three ways for educators to communicate, including classroom instructors and extracurricular activity coordinators. Google Hangouts, a communication platform, and Smore, an online newsletter, can both be utilized through Google and Gmail, the Fort Osage School District’s email host.
This website also includes links to external sites with more detailed information on how to utilize each method as well as creative ideas and suggestions for incorporating this technology into the classroom.
