To be successful, students need to be interested, organized, and self motivated, but also need consistent support from those at home to keep things rolling smoothly. Fortunately, with the tips and tricks listed on previous pages, you'll be able to help guide this process! In addition to these traits, below are some aspects to keep in mind:
Students should expect to spend approximately 3-5 hours per course per week, working virtually.
Students are encouraged to self-advocate by reaching out to their teachers for questions and clarification.
Students are encouraged to attend live sessions when available from their teachers, especially in subjects that they need extra help.
See the following resource for and list of Student Expectations in Forsyth Virtual!
Grades that are earned in Forsyth Virtual courses post automatically to transcripts, and do transfer to base schools when applicable. Once these grades are posted, they cannot be removed from a student's transcript.
To offer the highest quality program and maintain its integrity, Forsyth Virtual has created the following documents. Students must be familiar with the FVA Student Handbook and the policies included in the document.
