Forsyth Living Wage
Forsyth Living Wage is an awareness, education, and certification program for local employers. Forsyth Living Wage seeks to raise awareness and understanding of the positive impact that living wages have on individuals, families, businesses, and the community overall. By taking the living wage pledge, local employers can become certified living wage employers, a distinction that indicates their commitment to a more just and equitable local economy.
Financial Education Best Practices
The Asset Building Coalition supports local providers of financial education services in learning and adopting best practices to ensure that residents receive the highest-quality financial education possible. Participating organizations can become best practice certified.
Advocating about Asset Poverty
Asset poverty is a community-level issue that requires a coordinated, strategic, community-level response. The Asset Building Coalition is launching its inaugural advocacy agenda in 2019 to draw attention to and build support behind common sense policies and practices to alleviate asset poverty in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.
