A Not So Spooky Season

Although it is always sad to see summer come to an end, I think most people can agree that Fall is the best season of the year. Who doesn't love the crisp fall air, pumpkin carving, pumpkin spice everything, and the very pretty colors on the trees? Here are some reasons why I think Fall is the best season. 

Number one - Football season. 

Who enjoys a nice football game on a Sunday night? Whether you enjoy watching NFL games, college football games, or Friday night lights at Anderson, there's always something to see and someone to cheer for. There's nothing quite like when the leaves are turning and you're enjoying a snack while watching football. Football will always mean fall. 

Number two - The beautiful weather. 

There's nothing similar to taking a drive through a wooded area and seeing all of the colorful trees. When you sit outside on your deck or porch, you're not sweating. Riding with the windows down is an unmatched feeling. You don't have to worry about wearing a sweater or sweatshirt because you'll never be too hot. The weather in Fall can't be compared to any other season's weather, it is just that good. 

Number Three - Holidays. 

All of the best holidays are right around the corner from fall. But in the fall you get Thanksgiving and Halloween. Two of the best holidays in the books. No matter your age, Halloween is always an inclusive holiday. Whether you're the one dressing up or the one passing out candy, it's always an enjoyable experience. With Thanksgiving, you get to gather with your close family or friends and enjoy a wonderful meal. In addition to Thanksgiving, there is always the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV. Later, you also get thrilling football games along with your scrumptious meal. 

Number Four - Pumpkin Everything. 

There is also a plethora of delicious, pumpkin-themed activities to enjoy, such as sipping pumpkin-spiced drinks, carving pumpkins, visiting pumpkin patches, and eating a slice of savory pumpkin pie. Even if you're not a big fan of pumpkin flavor, you can still spend time at a pumpkin patch with your loved ones. Starbucks's pumpkin-flavored seasonal drinks are highly popular worldwide. A warm and delectable pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving dinner will always be a fan favorite. 

These are simply a handful of the reasons why I adore fall; if you had a different opinion, I hope this changed your mind. The key to having an amazing Fall is to just simply enjoy it, as it does go by fast.
