Best Beechmont Buys

When on Beechmont, seeing all the colorful blurs of the fast food signs as you drive can be mesmerizing. But which ones are worth stopping at and spending the time and money on? I went through all the fast food restaurants on Beechmont and rated them in three categories: taste, price, and reliability. For each restaurant, I gave them a score in each of these categories out of ten then took the average of each category combined to determine the restaurant’s final rating.

To start my list at number five I have Taco Bell. Taco Bell received an average score of 7.2, with reliability dragging down the average the most. Although Taco Bell has upped their prices, it is still possible to purchase a meal for under ten dollars. If you are a Mexican food fan, their services will not disappoint you. But it won’t blow your taste away either.

At number four we go to a long-time veteran in the fast food scene: McDonald's. McDonald’s received an average score of 7.7 with reliability raising the average this time. You can easily buy a meal here for under 10 dollars, making it a top spot for high school students. Although you may not receive the highest food quality, you will receive a meal that gets the job done. The drinks are a high point at McDonald's. The fountain drinks are unbelievably crisp. 

At number three we take a big jump in average scores. Skyline received a final average score of 8.7. Skyline has extremely quick and reliable service. In addition to their quick service, they don’t cut corners on taste. The Cincinnati Chili is consistently delicious no matter what you pair it with on the menu. The versatility of this one item is to be admired. It works well with most items from hotdogs to tortillas to spaghetti. Also, Skyline has kept prices lower than most restaurants consistently. This makes it easily accessible to most.

The runner-up is an expected victim of this list. Chick-fil-A received a 9.2. Chick-fil-A has impeccable service and very high-quality food. The meal simply never disappoints. Although a little more on the expensive side of this list, the taste will quickly make you forget. The way they prepare their fried and grilled chicken is extremely impressive. Options like grilled chicken give healthier options to people who still want to enjoy the pleasure of fast food but may be on dietary restrictions. The sauces here are absolutely unreal. No matter what sauce you choose, it will enhance your chicken's flavor. For these reasons, it is my number two.

At number one and at no surprise to many, we have Chipotle. Chipotle received an astounding 9.7 on the scale. The only weakness holding them back is their current accusations of giving weak portions. Although this may be a concern, Chipotle is still top-tier at what they do. The food is always tasty and it always tastes fresh. It also is healthier than most other fast food places. Even more, a good meal at Chipotle will run you slightly more than ten dollars. The service is quick, you can be in and out quickly, and the meal will not break your bank.
