Advanced Maths

Year 10 Advanced Mathematics is designed to prepare students for studying VCE Mathematical Methods and VCE Specialist Mathematics. It has a strong focus on algebraic approaches to problem solving across its areas of study.

Students are expected to be able to apply techniques, routines and processes involving rational and real arithmetic, algebraic manipulation, equation solving and graph sketching, with and without the use of technology, as applicable.
