pronumeral - a letter used to stand for a number.
term - made by multiplying or dividing pronumerals and numbers.
co-efficient - a number in front of a pronumera.
constant term - a term with no pronumerals
expression - made by adding or subtracting terms.
substitution - replacing a variable with a known value.
like terms - like terms have the same variable and can be added and subtracted.
