Cory Schneider has been a choir director at Fond du Lac High School since 2001. Prior to his tenure at Fond du Lac High School, he taught choral music at Sabish Junior High School in Fond du Lac and Fox River Middle School in Waterford. At FHS, Cory directs Concert Choir, Varsity Treble Choir, Varsity Bass Choir, Cardinal Singers, and the annual fall Broadway musical. In the 2011-2012 school year, he was selected as an Excellence in Education award recipient by the Fond du Lac Lac School District and was a finalist for the Kohl Fellowship in Education.
Mr. Schneider graduated from Carroll College in Waukesha with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education. He received his Masters Degree in Music Education; Choral Conducting Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, Music Educators National Conference, Wisconsin Choral Directors Association, and Chorus America.
In the Fond du Lac community, Mr. Schneider conducts the South Shore Chorale, South Shore Chamber Singers, and Orchestra. He has sung with the Heartland Singers, Milwaukee Choral Artists, Waukesha Choral Union, Jubilate Chorale (Waukesha), and the Fond du Lac Oratorio Chorus. He has served in leadership roles with the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association, Fond du Lac Concert Association and the Fond du Lac Summer Music Festival. Cory resides in Fond du Lac with his wife Julie, and has two sons, Colin and Ryan.
Brittney Harrison is a student at The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and is currently finishing her degree in Choral Music Education by student teaching with Cory Schneider at Fond du Lac High School. She has been involved in various choirs around the country for about 14 years. She recently came from the UW-Oshkosh Chamber Choir as the Alto section leader and the Titan Thunder Marching Band as the Piccolo Section Leader (2022) and Drum Major (2023).
Currently, Brittney serves as a Choir Director at Calvary Lutheran Church in Oshkosh and a Private Voice Instructor in the Oshkosh Area. She is an active vocalist, oboist, and trumpeter in the Fox Valley Area. She is involved in the Appleton NewVoices Choir, Oshkosh Chamber Singers, Oshkosh Community Band, and Oshkosh Jazz Band.
Shin is a dedicated clinic medical assistant and proud parent of three, who is thrilled to be the new collaborative pianist for the Fondy Choir program. With a passion for music that spans from classical to rock, pop and especially K-pop, Shin has always enjoyed playing the piano, often sharing this love with their children. Now, stepping into this new role, Shin is excited to contriubte to the school's musical journey.
