Middle School 7-8

FPA focuses on developing independence through advisory coaching and self-paced academic work. 

We encourage students to become masters of their own learning in order to set them up for success in their high school experience. They develop executive functioning skills essential for their future success.

FPA strives to provide a balance of routine and flexibility needed to maximize learning. Intentional use of technology solutions combined with advisory meetings allow for a flexible schedule that can happen in a variety of locations and has limited time constraints.

Each learner meets with an advisor regularly for personalized academic and social support.

Learners have access to a variety of online courses through our online course catalog. They will complete requirements based on the district priority standards as well as make some choices about course content they would like to explore. 

Advisory focuses on connection, executive functioning skills, and self-regulation skills in a small group setting.
