Principal's Report
Hello Mustang Family!
Our last test of the school year is this week as those 8th grade students who have taken Algebra 1 will have their test on Thursday. Our 7th grade will be going on a field trip to Discovery Place on Tuesday; all students must bring a bag lunch. The SMS PTO is looking for volunteers for Field Day this Friday. Historically, this has been a energetic day of fun, team work related activities and MUSTANG spirit! Remember to send your student in properly dressed for the weather (dress code still applies), sunscreen, a clear water bottle, and money for concessions. Please review the Sign-Up Genius at the link below if you are interested in helping, we really can't do it without you!
Thank you for reading, have a great week!

What to know about your students’ PAY FEES outstanding balances:
All lunch accounts carry over from year to year, school to school. However for students that are leaving the district, or graduating, parents might want refunds or balance transfers for their students. You can do this via the Student Nutrition Department website. You will also find this info via the school district website, Departments, then student nutrition.
This link gives you the option to request a lunch account balance refund, a transfer, or to donate to our Angel Fund account. All refunds come in the form of a check that is mailed to the address that parents indicate when they complete the google doc form via the link.
If your child has a credit balance, that too will carry over into the next school year. If you child owes money, that debt mays into the next school year as well.
Note that free and reduced lunch applications are published online as we get closer to school opening next year. You MUST complete one every year to apply for this benefit. Your benefits don’t carry over.
Please contact Jane Hall if you have any questions at hallj@fortmillschools.org.
