What is the Reggio-Inspired Program?
The Reggio Inspired Program is designed to provide a playful inquiry-based program for young children to prepare them for future learning in school. Specially trained professional staff will provide instruction, strategies and play-based activities to enhance cognitive, social, physical, communication and behaviour development. The Reggio Inspired Program focuses on developing language through stories and playful inquiry. Each program is under the supervision of the school principal, a certified teacher and the early learning consultants. Early Learning programming focuses on increasing readiness for future learning through engaged thinking, ethical citizenship, entrepreneurial spirit, problem-solving, creativity, and innovation. These programs are a terrific fit for students who have an interest in the arts and sciences.

Children will need a small backpack, indoor shoes and healthy snacks.

Both ECDP and Kindergarten children attend five days a week for about 3 hours/day in accordance with the Division calendar. We believe that parental involvement is an essential element for student success. Therefore, Family Oriented Programming sessions will be offered throughout the year by staff to complement the program.
