Fourteen-year-old Apple has two fathers, one friend, and a beetle living in her ear. Quality over quantity, right? She’s not sure why Daddy keeps her in La Maison Jaune. She used to go to school, dance lessons, movie premieres... It wasn’t her world, but it sure was Daddy’s.

Once, he was a popular actor in the hit series Heartfield Farm. Three box office flops and a Hollywood scandal later, he’s struggling to land a role. The public thinks they know the truth. They see the headlines, the interviews… but the real story lives off-camera.

Behind the set lights lurks a creature with a hunger for young blood, and a father who’ll do whatever it takes to stay relevant. As Apple is plunged into child stardom, her obsession with insects evolves into something dangerous. Insects moult. Survive. People lie.

Earth Apple is a psychological horror novel about power imbalances, toxic dynamics, and the monstrous things that grow in the dark.
