Teacher Biography

I have been teaching English/language arts for 30 years. This is my fifteenth year at Model High School. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Education (1991), a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (1986) and a Masters of English Education (1997) all from the University of Georgia. In 20011, I completed my Education Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Berry College. My wife, Angie, is a retired Model Elementary School teacher, who now teaches English online to Chinese students and volunteers at Floyd Felines.. My daughter, Elizabeth, is a senior football cheerleader at MHS. My son, John, is a 2016 MHS graduate and attends Shorter University. We are all avid Georgia Bulldogs fans.
