Mrs. Roberts

Hello! I was born and raised here in Rome, Georgia, and  I am 2007 Model Graduate. I attended Berry College on an athletic scholarship and was a member of the Women's Basketball Team. I graduated from Berry in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education and I am  certified in Special Education and High School Mathematics. I graduated from Jacksonville University in 2014 with my Masters in Health and Physical Education.  I  graduated with  an Educational Specialist Degree from Piedmont University in July of 2023 and also completed my Tier 1 certification from Piedmont University in July of 2024. I hope to one day transition into Adminstration.

I am in my 15th year as a teacher, and I have taught at MHS since the beginning of my career. This year, I am teaching Algebra 1, Honors Algebra 1, Enhanced Algebra, and 8th grade math. 

I am also the Head Volleyball Coach. 

I am honored to have been named the 2021 Teacher of the Year here at MHS. 

I have been married to my husband, Trevor, for 13 years, and we have 2 beautiful girls; Lauren (10), who attends Model Middle, and CoraLeigh (7), who  attends Johnson Elementary.  We are a true Model family! 

In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, swimming, and scrapbooking!
