Mrs. Yandell

Welcome to Mrs. Yandell's Art Class Website

Mrs. Teresa Yandell is the art teacher at CMS for the first semester, from August - December. She is a graduate of Armuchee High School. She graduated college from Jacksonville State University, received her teaching certificate from Berry College, and completed her Masters in Art Education from West Georgia.

Mrs. Yandell has been teaching at middle school for eighteen years. Christine Puckett, an 8th grade teacher at Glenwood school, was a teacher that had a positive impact on Mrs. Yandell’s life as a student. Mrs. Margret Ingram was her high school art teacher at Armuchee High. Mrs. Ingram made up extra art classes for Mrs. Yandell to teach her more about art. Later, Mrs. Ingram helped Mrs. Yandell get a teaching job at Shorter College where she taught night classes for 20 years.

Mrs. Yandell advises her students: "If you always do what you've always done you'll always get what you got." Another favorite quote is "If you could imagine the type of person God expected you to be, you would rise up and never be the same again."

When she is not teaching or coaching tennis, Mrs. Yandell enjoys working and training horses, and giving horse riding lessons, and playing tennis. She loves playing on the new Berry courts! Her favorite authors are Steve McVey, Mike Wells, Bob George, Joseph Prince and Hal Lindsey, Rob Bell.
