Model Middle School has been my home for twenty-five years of my twenty-eight-year teaching career. During this time, I taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. 

 I love teaching social studies. It is important to know about our country as well as other cultures because technology has made the world a much smaller place than it was just twenty years ago. 

I am a graduate of Coosa High School Class of '85.  I have been a part of the Model community for twenty-four years. My family consists of my son, a graduate of Model High School,  and my two dogs. My mom and dad are also very important to my life. I enjoy reading in my spare time. I also love animals of all kinds, yes, even snakes. 

Keep up with student assignments by checking out Google Classroom. Your child has a Google Classroom account where all of his or her teachers will put many assignments and announcements. There is also a Google Classroom for 6th grade team information. Your child will have access to these classrooms that they can share with you. I will also send out invites through e-mail once rosters are entered.
