"Fourteen years at the same school is more than just time spent in classrooms -it’s a journey filled with growth, friendships, and unforgettable memories. For senior Ebin Hartman, Flour bluff has become a place where he built connections, discovered new strengths, and prepared for life after graduation.
“Ive attended Flour Bluff since kindergarten,” Hartman said. “My favorite part about going here is the teachers and the people I get to meet.”
Spending his entire school career in one place has allowed Hartman to build lasting connections with both peers and teachers. One of the biggest influences during his time in school has been his coach, who supported him both on and off the field.
“Coach DeYoung has helped me through a lot of things,” Hartman said. “Through football and personal issues.”
Beyond academics, Hartman has been heavily involved in athletics, particularly football and track. Through these activities, he not only developed physical skill but also learned valuable life lessons that will carry into his future.
“A memorable moment for me was my first snap on varsity,” Hartman said. “I learned how to play with a team and how to be a team player.”
Looking ahead, Hartman has clear goals for his future. With a strong sense of discipline and commitment, he plans to take the next step by serving his country.
“I plan on joining the Army,” Hartman said. “I have chosen this path since I was a little kid. My plan for the future is to try to do my 20 years.”
As he prepares to leave high school behind, with his mindset and determination, Hartman is ready to take on new challenges that come next and make the most of his future beyond Flour Bluff.
“If I could describe my high school experience in three words it would be fun, adventurous, and an experience,” Hartman said.
