It all started with a video posted by Tiktok user @810ladyboss showing a Top Golf at Auburn Hill’s driving range, where the net was seen plummeting to the ground. In the comments, Tiktok user@loganphillips69, known as Logan Phillips, replied with a comment that sparked a massive trend.
“They better have that fixed by January 9th my work Christmas party is there[.]” Phillips said.
This comment received over 300 thousand likes sending many to join Logan at his upcoming Christmas party, catching the attention of tiktok users everywhere and eventually Top Golf themselves.
“So now all of a sudden everyone knows Logan huh?” Top Golf’s account said.
The internet did what they do best, and began spreading encouragement in order for Phillips to have his Christmas party. The Top Golf company took full action to save Phillips’s Christmas party, posting videos themselves showing progress of the nets being repaired.
“I’m convinced this would have took a month if not for Logan[.]” Tiktok user @j_dog5674 commented on a video of Top Golf fixing the nets.
On January 2nd, 2026 Top Golf’s official account posted a video announcing the nets were back up in time for Logan’s Christmas party. While this was taking place another dilemma showed itself. Tiktok user @cashsecrettt, Tony posted a video asking if anyone was mad at him, the backflash was instantaneous. All of tiktok was now upset at Tony.
“Just as long as Tony doesn’t show up.” Tiktok user @JadoryonNicholas commented.
Top Golf took full action on promoting Logan’s Christmas party making deals like the ‘4Logan’ half off deal leading up to the day of the party.
“Logan saved his party AND got us all a discount… way to start the year buddy.” Tiktok user @sugarhousecake commented.
On the day of the party, all was going well while waiting for Phillips to arrive, when Tony decided to show up first. Top Golf posted a video asking, “Chat be honest, who invited him?” The comments were outraged with even the University of Michigan commenting under the video.
“He would be dressed for the 4th of July at a Christmas party[,] typical Tony”, User @J_may13 commented.
Soon after Top Golf posted a video announcing Logan had arrived for his work Christmas party, it wasn't long until users began talking about the event once again. User @brookeelizabethhh commented,“Imagine you just think you left a nonchalant comment one day and this all unfolds[.]”
Everyone decided to enjoy the moment together, leaving everyone to reminisce on the moment one user's comment caused an entire wave of videos and memes uniting the internet together one again.
