The new Micheal Jackson movie, Michael, has to be hands down one of the best movies produced recently. Not only did this movie show his life, it showed all the struggles he went through in his career.
Although many people have never really been a die hard fan of his or even researched about him, this movie allows for them to realize he is someone who has impacted many peoples life.
In the movie it shows his life from when he was in a wedding band with his brother, to one of his biggest moments in his career. The Victory Tour was such a good turning point when he announced he wasn't going to perform with his family anymore.
Although this did make his dad frustrated, he couldn’t abuse him because he was an adult. The movie showed how much his dad had an effect on Jackson's feelings or what he believed.
Not only did it show how much physical abuse he had to endorse, it also showed how his father made him insecure about a lot of things. Many fans never fully understood why Jackson got a nose job, but I learned from the movie it was because of his dad and everything he had to say about it.
Although he did experience a lot of valleys in his life some of them really stood out to me. One that wasn’t too crazy, but was shocking after hearing was how MTV wouldn’t put him on their channel because they aren't a fan of colored people. They wanted their program to be elegant and believed putting someone of color would scare the Whites, which they said in the movie.
Michael Jackson was actually played by his nephew, Jaafar Jackson. Jakson and his nephew look so much like it's crazy. Because of their insanely similar looks the movie was really brought to life.
Getting to see this movie in the theater changed the perspective originally placed upon Michael Jackson. It allowed those in attendance to gain a deeper understanding of the King of Pop. When something good would happen in the movies the audience would start clapping or yelling,” Let’s go Jackson.”
Getting to experience this type of gathering isn’t very common in a movie theater. It is extremely rare when the audience actually claps in the middle of the movie, this type of participation is what made the movie even better. Many people in the audience received chills when people would clap almost as if everyone came together, just for Jackson.
Although there were many negatives shown in the movie there were also many positives. One person who affected Jackson was Bill, he had a huge effect towards him which was shown in the movie.
Bill helped Jackson finally get his freedom, and helped him take control of his life and his career. When this scene was shown in the movie everyone started cheering, and this created such a warming effect on everyone.
This movie was such a positive and really a great way to realize just how much Micheal Jackson affected people. The graphics helped the audience really get a point of view they have never received before about his story. Without them the audience wouldn’t get the same type of feeling everyone experiences in the movie.
Because of all of these amazing factors put into the movie the audience really got to experience what his life really looked and felt like for him. The Micheal Jackson movie is one of many movies which not only described the person's life, but really brought people together to celebrate their life.
