Meet the teacher:

 Greetings. My name is La Wanda Smith. I teach 8th grade English Language Arts and Coach Girls 8th grade Volleyball, Basketball and Track. This is my 11th year in the district. I received my Bachelors in Arts in Humanity and a Masters of Science in Education from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. GO ISLANDERS! 

 I enjoy my job to the fullest. I look forward to this school year! GO HORNETS!
