About Us

I’ve been raising and breeding tortoises for over forty years, specializing in Giant Tortoises—particularly Aldabras and Galápagos. Over the decades, I’ve built one of the most respected breeding programs in the United States, providing healthy, well-started animals to zoos, educators, and private collectors worldwide.

My passion for these incredible species drives everything we do at Sam’s Giant Tortoise Farm, an accredited ZAA (Zoological Association of America) facility. Every tortoise is raised with care, attention, and the highest standards of husbandry.

We take pride in offering unmatched service and industry-leading guarantees:

Guaranteed live arrival

30-day exchange policy

One-year health guarantee

Ongoing customer support for care, diet, and setup

Over the years, I’ve produced numerous educational videos and care guides to help keepers succeed with these magnificent animals. Whether you’re adding your first hatchling or looking for proven breeders, I’ll be happy to share my experience and ensure you find the right tortoise for your collection.
