The BRIDGE Performance Indicators (BPI), also known as the Portrait of a Learner (POL), is a framework outlining the essential skills all students in Fleming County Schools develop throughout their learning journey. These durable skills, independent of grade level, subject, or pathway, empower students for success in academics, careers, and life.

The Interdisciplinary Learning Indicator breaks down traditional subject silos and encourages students to explore connections between different disciplines. It fosters a collaborative learning environment where students engage with content and concepts from various subjects to gain a deeper understanding of the world around them.

The Contextual Learning indicator focuses on learning within a specific context, which could be local, regional, national, or global. Students explore current trends and issues relevant to that context, through relevance to them in terms of interests, passions, and aspirations. 

The Student Agency Indicator focuses on the level of student choice and voice throughout the teaching and learning process. How are students empowered to be co-creators of learning? How are students empowered to use their personal, academic, and professional Interests, passions, and aspirations to demonstrate readiness and understanding of learning?
