Equilibria @ Symbiosis

Naqaab was invited to perform at the Symbiosis School of Economics’s annual fest, 'Equilibria' for the theatre play event, 'Rangmunch'.

The theme of the event for the year was set as 'Defend the Darkness'. Given the topic, it was interpreted as a necessary evil and our contingency decided to look into the issue of Military violence. We took some inspiration from the Film, 'A Few Good Men'.

The script revolved around the death of a Probie, Shashank Rawat, and was presented in the form of a court martial hearing. Through the lawyers, the audience is taken on a journey that uncovers the cause of the death and the unlawful command taken. Through the play, we present the perspective of the Captain who claims that the means justify his ends. 

The script was written and directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh Shekhawat.
