This course is designed for students who consider themselves VISUAL ART MAJORS, who are seriously interested in the development of a visual arts portfolio for college admission or who have a passion for community, art & activism. This course will be determined by the students enrolled for a more individualized approach to art making. Students may develop a portfolio and projects/installations, tailored to the school of their choosing containing artworks that are college level in sophistication. Or, students will create art installations, art actions, collaborations, to raise awareness about the issues through visual art media. Students will need to work several hours a week outside the classroom, as well as in class. Must be invested, passionate, and a warrior for the visual arts.
