AP/Honors English Summer 2020 Information and Resources

Hello AP and Honors Students,

Congratulations on your choice to challenge yourself by enrolling in Honors and AP ELA courses. Here are our thoughts on summer work. We want it to be meaningful, enjoyable, and reasonable. Overloading you with tedious assignments just to “set the tone” for the class isn’t our style and doesn’t really benefit you (remember this when we’re writing frequently this year). The only tone we want to set is one of exploring your skill sets as readers and writers, while helping you build toward a successful year and future.

All summer work is OPTIONAL, but we highly recommend that you explore some the of the options to keep your skills fresh and mind active.
