Dance of the Horae was a collection focused on the contemporary market through the lens of the Swedish brand Acne Studios. Inspired by some brand motifs, archives, and sustainability reports, and as secondary inspirations the revolutionary times of the Renaissance and the fashion of the 1930s. Additionally of being inspired by the silhouettes and construction techniques, both periods had an emphasis on the trompe l'oeil technique, from the painted fake rooms in the walls during the Renaissance or the introduction of the concept in fashion by Elsa Schiaparelli by the end of the 30s. As for my main character, the Horae is the personification of the change of seasons, Spring itself, in Greek mythology, and it was often a source of inspiration for the Italian painter master Botticelli.
